Good article.  We are a big fan of contests too.  We have run a couple for ourselves and many for clients.

As you pointed out, one of the keys is getting partners involved. Judges can be a good way to recruit them.

Getting to the first page of Google is a great feat....and in essence the end result of link building in the first place. It also highlights the fact that Google doesn&#039;t just use links in its evaluation of SERP placement. Great post, enjoyed the case study of sorts, would like to see some raw data too!</description>
