It drizzles, then rains, then pours. Even Youtube.com, when they were launching, had to realize the hard way that there is a critical threshold that you have to break before the network externalities take effect. Youtube almost shut down. Then the recommendation was made that they added a few viral features. The rest is history. Think about AOL's early network. Imagine -being one of the first hundred sign-ups and being introduced to a think called the buddy list. The feature is not all that exciting until 1000 people are using it. Yes, I agree. I've played around a bit in MySpace but haven't really found anything too interesting yet. And I don't want to run two blogs, so I don't spend any time there. Though I know there's a huge population of people in my market who do. One thing I'd love to hear about is anyone successfully getting their feed from their non-MySpace blog into their MySpace blog. Or somehow populating their MySpace blog with the posts from the non-MySpace blog. I found some ideas through Google, but wasn't fond of the execution. Great tips.
